Campkin's RV Wins Try-Lynx/RV PRO Photo Contest
“The Campkin's display was creative and unique. It really gave their store some glow,” said Lance Bubalo, manager at Tri-Lynx. “The Campkin's’ submission was a cut above everybody else who participated. You can tell they put a lot of effort into making it look great.”

Campkin's RV Centre won the Tri-Lynx photo contest with a display that spelled out "Lynx" with actual levelers. RV PRO selected the dealership as the winner after reviewing many decorative Tri-Lynx displays by RV dealers across North America.
Purchasing manager Louise Cooper was credited by co-workers for building the eye-snaring Lynx Levelers display at Campkin's RV.
“I thought it was quite ingenious when I first saw it. Louise set it up right in the front entranceway of our store – when people walked in it was right in front of them,” said Roland Goreski, general manager of Campkin's.
Cooper said she thought hard about how to improve the dealership’s Lynx Levelers display before creating the winning display.
“I starting taking pictures of our existing Lynx Levelers display and thought ‘this is really boring, what can we do to jazz this up?’ So, I’m thinking and thinking, and then it donned on me, we’ll spell the name,” she said. A couple of co-workers came in and helped me and we figured out how to prop up the top of the X with some clear water bottles. That’s my brainchild."
Cooper added Lynx Levelers are a popular item in the Campkin's RV parts store and the dealership buys them by the skid.
“We love the product. We go through lots of them. Customers love them, too,” she said. “We’ve sold 89 so far this year, and 118 last year. We should easily surpass that mark this year.”
Campkin's RV receives kudos from RV PRO and Tri-Lynx for its decorative display. Most importantly, the dealership will soon receive its grand prize – a loaded skid with 64 sets of Lynx Levelers and 64 custom bags printed with the Campkin's RV logo.
Tri-Lynx sponsored the contest in part to help bolster its new Google-powered dealer map on its website. The map identifies for customers where Lynx Leveler products are sold. Dealers had to register to be placed on the map to participate in the contest.
“Whether a consumer is on the road or at home, they are able to visit our website from a computer or mobile device to find any dealership pretty much anywhere who sells our products,” Bubalo said.
Photos submitted for the contest will be used on the Tri-Lynx website and in the company’s trade show booths.
“We will use pictures for marketing purposes,” Bubalo said. “We like to show that we’re a laid back company that has a lot of fun.”
