Hitch Supplier Launches 'Interactive' Dealer Training
“While doing on-site RV dealership trainings, we realized how powerful it would be to have these trainings in every dealership,” said Rich Elliott, sales manager for Progress Manufacturing. “Dealers who take advantage of this online tool will always have the benefit of training at their fingertips.”
Dealerships that complete the online training from Progress Manufacturing will receive a special web icon next to their dealership listing on the Equal-i-zer website. The icon will provide dealers priority search benefits when a consumer searches where to purchase product, according to the company.
Dealership employees that complete the training will receive training hours toward RVIA/RVDA certifications, according to Progress Manufacturing.
“Experience has shown us that better trained dealers have higher customer satisfaction and sell more product,” said Kim Dewsnup, one of the web-training instructors for Progress Manufacturing.
“We are always looking for ways to support our great dealers,” said Deven McCann, also a web-training instructor for the hitch supplier. “Our hope is this video training series will give our dealers a boost in their sales margins and educate dealer personnel on the value of the Equal-i-zer Hitch.”
