Navistar Looks to Hire 100 Workers for Monaco Towables Division
Wednesday, August 1, 2012
Navistar is looking to hire around 100 new employees for two locations, according to WSBT-TV.
The company recently began production of Monaco's towable RV line at an old Elkhart plant near Nappanee Street and Hively. It used to be the Custom Chasis Products building, the TV station reported.
The entire towable line is being moved from the Monaco plant in Wakarusa, Ind., to the Elkhart, Ind., plant. That's happening so Monaco can concentrate solely on building only motorized units at the Wakarusa location, the TV station said.
