Truma North America Adds Ogden as VP Sales and Strategic Business Development

North American-focused Truma Corp. added Harold Ogden to its Elkhart, Ind.-based team. His role is to aggressively pursue new business, increase market share and open new opportunities. Ogden will be responsible for working with RV manufacturers, as well as opening new retail opportunities in aftermarket and outdoor recreational channels.

“Harold has a proven track record in sales, sales management, product development and marketing,” said Gerhard Hundsberger, president and CEO of Truma North America. “Equally as important to us, these skills were developed in the recreational vehicle OEM and retail channels, plus automotive and off-road aftermarket and end-user outdoor channels. This makes him a perfect contributor to achieve our growth plans.”

Mark Hewlett, chief operating officer of Truma North America added, “Harold is one of the most strategic, customer-centric, solutions-minded business development people I have had the pleasure of meeting. I am looking forward to having him on our team.”

Most recently, Ogden was the director of global marketing for Airxcel Inc., where he had responsibility for the RV OEM and aftermarket products marketing. Prior to Airxcel, Ogden was the director of sales and marketing for Aqua-Hot Heating Systems, that Airxcel acquired in 2019.
