Ultra-Fab Introduces Scissor Jack Twin-Pack
The scissor jacks install easily by welding or bolting them to the RV frame using 3-inch by 10-inch multi-hole mounting plates, according to Ultra-Fab. The mounting plates have a black powder-coat finish that resists rust.
The Ultra scissor jacks have a strong worm-gear jacking mechanism that won't slip and the 5-inch by 9-inch footpads help combat sinking and tilting, according to the company.
Once installed, RVers simply use the hand crank included in the twin-pack. The scissor jacks extend from 4-3/4 inch to 30 inches, according to Ultra-Fab. The company’s scissor jacks crank up and down 20 percent faster than other leading brands, the company said. The jacks have a left thread and a right thread at each end and a nut at both ends that enable the threads to work together to raise and lower faster.
The Ultra Speed Socket scissor jack drill accessory (Part No. 48-979002) is available for those who don’t want to hand crank the jacks. The speed socket connects to a customer’s existing hand drill, according to Ultra-Fab.
The 30-inch scissor jack by Ultra-Fab (Part No. 48-979032) is also available in a single pack, but does not include the hand crank, according to the company.
