The Hay Pod invention stores hay bales above-head in the back of the Equine Motorcoach. The Hay Pod was engineered to work on an electrically-driven cable system to make it easy to load hay bales that are usually heavy and take a lot of storage space in transport, according to the company.

The hay storage system allows people to load hay at floor level. The electric cable system hoists the hay on a tray into a sealed pod above the horse transport area. When it is time to unload, the pod lowers with the same electric cable system.

The Hay Pod was installed in a customer's new two-horse model that has an inside tack room and bedroom. The floorplan also includes a full kitchen, and an over-cab bunk.

Last month, Equine Motorcoach introduced the Saddlematic 180 device in its motorhome to ease saddle management. The electronic saddle storage device swings 180-degress from the back of the trailer and lowers and lifts for loading and unloading.
