“We’ve noticed a marked increase in Internet traffic as the temperatures climbed over 100 degrees,” said Chad Bruce, web manager at the dealership. “Being able to browse the entire lot from the comfort of your own home is definitely very appealing.”

Bruce said Basden’s American RV Centers online showroom pages have specifically increased in the number of hits. The dealership’s foot traffic has also increased in June, according to General Manager Keith Willis.

“I’m surprised at the number of people who are visiting the dealership during the heat. Many of the ones I’ve spoken with say they would not have come if we didn’t have a climate-controlled showroom,” Willis said.
