The RV Industry Association’s Governance Committee is inviting submissions from RV industry leaders who are interested in running for one of the seven open Board of Director positions up for election this year for the 2020-2022 term.
The open positions are:
- Three supplier representatives
- Two manufacturer representatives
- One park model manufacturer representative
- One at-large representative
The Board of Directors is the highest level of authority in the association’s overall organizational structure and is responsible for setting and overseeing strategy and policy related to critical topics such as standards, marketing, government affairs, trade shows, industry education and association finances.
At the June 2018 board meeting, the board made the decision to move the association’s financials from a fiscal year to a calendar year. This also has implications on the election cycle. As a result, the current positions listed above have terms that extend until Dec. 31, 2019, rather than Sept. 30, 2019, as it has in previous years.

Elections will take place during September and the winners will be announced in October. All winning candidates will be expected to attend the next Board of Directors meeting on Nov. 12 taking place during the RV Dealers Association’s 2019 RV Dealers Convention and Expo in Las Vegas for transition and orientation training.
