REV Recreation Group has announced the 2021 recipients of the American Coach Association Scholarship Foundation. The ACA Scholarship Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) foundation that seeks to advance higher learning opportunities for the children and grandchildren of RRG employees. All scholarships are entirely funded from club member donations.
Since 2007, the Decatur, Ind.-based ACA has presented $1,000 scholarships, based on academic excellence, to deserving graduating seniors from area high schools and surrounding communities. This year, the ACA committee selected five recent graduates for the $1,000 scholarship.
The 2021 recipients are:
Michael Bemus – Bemus’s grandparent is Jo Heister from RRG
Sage Hammond – Hammond’s grandparent is Connie Hammond from RRG
Taylor Ross – Ross’s grandparent is Marge Ross from RRG
Brieanna Shifferly – Shifferly’s parent is Luke Shifferly from RRG
Alissa Stukenborg – Stukenborg’s parent is Joe Stukenborg from RRG
To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must submit their high school transcripts, as well as three recommendation letters from teachers and community members who can speak to the candidate’s capabilities and unique characteristics.
