Golfer Wally Armstrong will speak at the RVI Leadership Prayer Breakfast on Dec. 2 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel during this year’s RV Industry Association National Trade show in Louisville, Ky.
The breakfast will take place from 7 to 8:30 a.m.
Armstrong is a Lifetime Member of the PGA Tour who has competed in more than 300 events, as well as a lauded instructor who strives to make learning and playing golf more fun by using basic, relatable tenets: Take one shot at a time; put bad shots behind you and keep replaying the good ones in your mind; strive for progress, not perfection.
Armstrong says these tenets also apply to life, most essentially the mulligan, a do-over that has to be offered by another player; and the spiritual mulligan, he says, is “the ultimate gift of God’s grace.”
It’s one RVIA show attendees won’t want to miss, according to RVI Leadership Committee’s chairman, Carl Pletcher.
“This is a time for members of the RV industry to gather with other Christians to receive nourishment for our bodies and souls through the fellowship and testimonies we experience there,” Pletcher said. “It’s a busy day within an important week for our businesses. But it’s good to start that day with a moment of repast and reflection to get our hearts and heads on the one thing that’s needful, and the reason we have the successes that we do.”
The event is open to all RVIA show attendees and their teams. Individual tickets are $17 each and tables of 10 are $160. Sponsorships are also still available for those who would like to support RVI, a nonprofit group that has conducted the event for more than three decades.
Payment and reservations can be sent to the RVI Leadership Prayer Breakfast Committee at 56771 Wedgewood S., Elkhart, Ind., 46516. For more information on attending or sponsoring the event, or to provide payment with a credit card, contact Pletcher at 574-215-7173 or email@example.com.
