“How to Navigate a Historic Opportunity in Your Service Department,” is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 10:15 – 11:15 a.m. In this informative session Allen will discuss ways to increase revenue in a dealership’s fixed ops department, how to make the experience easy and convenient for customers, and how to streamline parts and service processes.

This session will teach attendees:

  • How to keep customers informed on service and parts.
  • Specific ways to expedite customer response time.
  • Methods to collect touchless payments and save on transaction fees.

Then, on Thursday, Nov. 11 from 3:15 – 4:15 p.m. in the digital marketing education track, Allen will present “What to Do When You Get a Negative Google Review.” Research shows that 93 percent of consumers choose a business based on reviews. Even a single negative review can have a significant impact on a business’s reputation. In this workshop, Allen will teach attendees what they should do about negative reviews and, more importantly, what not to do when you get one.

The RVDA Convention/Expo Committee is working to provide a variety of workshops and networking events that will aid dealers in building on an expanding market and interest in RVs and RV travel. The convention/expo is sponsored by RVDA, the National RV Dealers Association, RVDA of Canada, and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center.
