Meyer Distributing announced an expansion of its Portland, Ore., distribution center and expanded deliveries in Oregon and Washington.

“Meyer has operated in the Northwest for about six months,” Meyer CFO Jeff Braun said. “We have built a solid account base in a short amount of time by bringing hard-to-find products locally to the market via our logistics network. Our inventory breadth is a significant advantage, and many dealers have been using us for those difficult-to-find items and are starting to benefit on more common items from our local Portland stock as well.

“Our increased 3PL shipments as well as increasing volume to dealers in our new RV segment have warranted speeding up our expansion timeline on the Portland warehouse. We are additionally increasing our delivery frequency to many areas were previously only delivering once per week such as McMinnville, Bremerton, Oak Harbor, Mount Vernon and Bellingham to name a few.”

The demand for Meyer extends beyond its Northwest region, according to RV and Towing Category Sales Manager Jason Lents.

“We are thankful that many dealers not only in this region, but nationwide, have entrusted Meyer as a supplier option keeping us on their call lists while we work to earn their trust to be a top call,” he said. “We continue to invest significant dollars to increase our RV product stock levels nationally, which has benefited our dealers as they get stocked up for the busy 2016 season ahead.”
