Yakima County Planning Services is now taking comments on a proposed campground that would house hundreds of RV spaces on a 154-acre site, 1.3 miles northeast of Naches, Wash.

The planned development includes 238 to 241 spaces, depending on demand; an office building, a clubhouse, laundry and shower facilities and a swimming pool, according to Kodiak LLC’s application, which was submitted to Yakima County planning services last month.
Kodiak, which owns the property, is seeking county approval of the development’s site plan.
Kodiak LLC plans to build the campground over the three phases and aim to start construction of the first phase to develop the first 40 acres later this year.
