The RV/MH Hall of Fame’s Induction Dinner Committee Chairman Mark Wasson (Bluelinx Corp.), reports reservations for the induction dinner honoring the Class of 2015 are running ahead of last year’s reservations.

“As of early June 15 more than 153 friends and family of the inductees have registered, which is ahead of last year’s record pace of registrations,” Wasson said.

In addition to these reservations, golf committee chairman Trey Miller is signing up foursomes for the 2015 RV/MH Hall of Fame Golf Classic.

So far 11 companies and individuals have signed on as sponsors for the dinner and golf, according to Darryl Searer, president, RV/MH Hall of Fame.

This year’s Induction Dinner will be held on Aug. 3 at the Hall of Fame’s Event Center in Elkhart, Ind.

“With less than 60 days until the event, I urge everyone to sign up early,” Searer said. “Seating is on a first-come, first served basis, so the earlier a reservation is received, the best seating location available at that time will be assigned.”

Those being honored in the Class of 2015 include: Bert V. Alanko, MBA Insurance; Patricia A. Fiederer, Latham Oneota Homes; Sherman Goldenberg, RV Business Magazine; Paul E. Hanser, HWH Corp.; Jerry W. James, Franklin Homes Inc.; Joe Kelly, Iowa Manufactured Housing Association; Richard A. Mendlen, Manufactured Housing: Marlene A. Sine, Marlene Sine & Associates Inc.; Bill Thomas, Bill Thomas Camper Sales; Robert West, Affordable Community Living.

The evening’s festivities kick off with a cocktail reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by a gala dinner and induction ceremony at 7 p.m.  All day Monday, the attendees will be able to tour the Hall’s many attractions including the antique unit collection in the museum, library and the GoRVing Hall.

The 2015 Golf Classic Fundraiser kicks off with a full breakfast at 7 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. and then caps off with a luncheon and awards presentation. This year the golf classic will be hosted by The Bent Oak Golf Club in Elkhart.

Searer also mentioned that the Hall is seeking sponsors for the various Induction Dinner events as well as for the golf tournament.

“These sponsorships help the Hall offset the cost of the night’s events and provide additional services,” Searer said.

The types of Induction Dinner sponsorships available and costs include:

Platinum – $25,000

Diamond – $10,000

Gold – $5,000

Silver – $2,500

Bronze – $1,000

Friend of the Hall of Fame Sponsor – $200
