Work has started inside the former Toys ‘R’ Us building in Clay, N.Y., where the Great Outdoors RV Superstore plans to open a location later this year.

The RV dealership, which has locations in Auburn, Fulton and Brewerton, has signed a lease to move into the old Toys ‘R’ Us store near Great Northern Mall, town of Clay officials said.
The Great Outdoors RV Superstore, which has operated in Central New York for 25 years, sells, rents and services RVs, along with selling RV parts and accessories.
In October 2017, Great Outdoors closed its sales office in the former Fremont Bowling Alley on Manlius Center Road, and opened inside the Finger Lakes Mall in Auburn.
Dan Crawford, speaking for the Great Outdoors RV Superstore, declined comment at this time, except to say “this will be a really good thing for Central New York.” He said more details on the new store will be released later.
