The Mike Molino RV Learning Center released a new video demonstrating how to access the recently released RV Fixed Operations Today Mobile App along with “readiness tests” for frontline dealership staff who are interested in becoming certified.
The video is available on the RV Learning Center YouTube page and accessible through the RV Dealers Association (RVDA) Convention/Expo On Demand portal.
In the video, RVDA Director of Partnerships Patrick Calpin and RVDA Fixed Operations Consultant Tony Yerman highlight the benefits of certification and review the free mobile app available through the Apple Store or Google Play store by searching “RVDA.”
The mobile app includes a series of online self-administered “readiness tests” for dealership staff including the parts manager, parts specialist, service writer/advisor, service manager and warranty administrator positions. Each test normally costs $25, but now anyone who downloads the app is eligible to take each of the five readiness tests one time for free – a savings of $125.
“Thanks to generosity of the RV Learning Center supporters, dealership staff interested in becoming certified can take these five readiness tests at no charge,” said RVDA President Phil Ingrassia. “Fixed operations certification can help increase service and parts department efficiency and improve the dealership’s repair event cycle time.”
Calpin and Yerman will also review the RV Learning Center’s fixed operations programs during a special workshop on Monday, Jan. 15 at 2 p.m. during the NTP-STAG Expo in Kissimmee, Florida.
During the live session, attendees will learn how fixed operations online courses and certification can help parts and service management professionals deal with the influx of new and returning customers looking to enhance or repair their towable or motorized product.
