Milwaukee RV Show Draws Thousands

It was a busy weekend at the Wisconsin State Fairgrounds this past weekend as the Milwaukee RV Show returned for its 58th year.

Gary Roscopf, the general manager of Camper’s Inn, has attended the show for years.

“It’s the passage to spring,” said Roscopf. “People are looking for a getaway and they want to do it as inexpensively as they can.”

Roscopf said he thinks this is the best time to purchase one.

“We have factory incentives going on because it’s early spring buying,” said Roscopf. “We have leftover product from last year. We have our corporate and our factories together, throwing discounts. I know I’m a sales person. I could say it until I’m blue in the face, but this is the time to buy.”

He said issues the industry dealt with when the pandemic started are now gone.

“The problem with COVID was the supply chain issues that we couldn’t get trailers,” said Roscopf. “Those days are over.”
