Winnebago says it will be closing its factory service center in Junction City, Ore. In a letter to owners of Winnebago Motorhome and Country Coach owners, the company says it was a “very difficult decision,” and noted that the Junction City Service Center has always had a reputation for high quality work and excellent customer service.
“We appreciate the service from our Junction City team, and are working with the affected employees to apply for other positions within Winnebago Industries,” wrote Dean Casad, the company’s director of customer service, in the letter.
The company says that Winnebago Motorhome and Country Coach owners in the Northwest seeking parts and service support are encouraged to visit Guaranty RV in Junction City or RV Corral in Eugene, or visit the company’s website to find their closest dealer.
Along with this service center consolidation, Winnebago will phase out support for Country Coach parts and accessories. The company says it encourages customers to seek repair and service resources through their local dealer and owner groups and e-commerce sites.
The company also notes that factory service will continue to be provided at its facility in Forest City, Iowa.
