Stephanie Henson, a prominent figure in the RV industry, is bidding farewell to her role at the National RV Training Academy (NRVTA) to devote her full attention to family ventures, Big Beard Batteries and RV Unplugged.
The transition marks a significant milestone in Henson’s career and underscores her commitment to building a lasting legacy for future generations, NRVTA said.
Over the past decade, Henson has played integral roles within the family of entities co-owned by her parents, Terry and Evada Cooper, contributing her expertise and leadership to various organizations:
- Director of administration for National RV Inspectors Association (2014-2021)
- Director of administration for RV Inspection Connection (2014-2016)
- General manager of Texan RV Park (2018-2019)
- Director of administration for National RV Training Academy (2021-2023)
During her tenure at NRVTA, Henson worked tirelessly to advance the organization’s mission and support its students. Reflecting on her journey, she expressed gratitude for the opportunities she’s had and the relationships she’s built along the way.
“The past 9-plus years have been a wonderful whirlwind of experiences and goals accomplished,” Henson said. “I’m so thankful for the opportunity to work for the entities my parents and their business partners created. This experience has been amazing, and I truly wish nothing but success for all the businesses under the Anderson/Cooper umbrella.”
As she embarks on the new chapter, her focus shifts towards nurturing and expanding her family businesses, Big Beard Battery and RV Unplugged. With a vision to create a legacy for her family, Henson said she is excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.
“My life is entering a season of change that requires me to be more present for my family,” she said. “We are further developing our own personal businesses to create a family legacy that our children, grandchildren and hopefully their children will be a part of. It is our desire to create, launch, grow and steward a family collection of businesses that will take our kids into their futures with great success.”
Todd Henson, Stephanie’s husband and the visionary behind Big Beard Battery, will continue to lead the charge in driving innovation and excellence within the RV industry, NRVTA said. Together, Stephanie and Todd are committed to delivering top-quality products and services while empowering consumers with knowledge and resources to embrace sustainable energy solutions.
