NHTSA Lists Weekly Recalls

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued the following weekly vehicular recalls:

Chrysler (FCA US) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Ram ProMaster vehicles. The wiring harness may have a poor connection, which can cause the left taillight and left turn signal to become inoperative. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, “Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.” FCA US’s number for this recall is 21B.

Forest River is recalling certain 2023-2024 Dynamax Isata motorhomes. The nut on the backside of the main 12V disconnect may have been improperly tightened. Forest River’s number for this recall is 55-1751.

Airstream is recalling certain 2023 Basecamp 16 & 16X travel trailers. The metric and imperial GAWR values were transposed. As such, these trailers fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, “Tire Selection and Rims.” The recall number is 24V206000.

Cruiser RV is recalling certain 2023-2024 Avenir trailers. The Federal Certification labels are missing the tire size and correct PSI. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 120, “Wheels and Rims-Other Than Passenger Cars.” The recall number is 24V210000.

Jayco is recalling certain 2023-2024 Jayco Solstice, Solstice LI, Entegra Coach Expanse, and Expanse LI motorhomes built on Ford chassis. The rearview camera, or 360-degree view camera if equipped, may not display a rearview image when the vehicle is placed in reverse. Jayco’s number for this recall is Ford 23V-598.

Jayco is also recalling certain 2023-2024 Entegra Ethos, Expanse, Jayco Solstice, and Swift vehicles. The liquid level remote fill gauge on the propane tank may leak when in the “Open” position. Jayco’s number for this recall is 9903604.

Prevost Car is recalling certain 2010 H3-45 VIP, 2024 H3-45 and X3-45 vehicles. The coolant heaters may generate excessive exhaust gas and overheat. Prevost’s number for this recall is SR24-13.
