Annual ORR Report Covers an Unusual Year
The Outdoor Recreation Roundtable has released its 2020 Annual Report, which describes a year unlike few that have gone before.
ORR was at the forefront of the historic passage of the Great American Outdoors Act, an accomplishment that has been decades in the making and involved a huge cross-section of the outdoor recreation industry and its supporters.
Meanwhile, the COVID-19 pandemic, which clouded most of 2020 and continues to affect life in the U.S., presented its own set of challenges and, ironically, opportunities, as the demand for outdoor recreation – particularly RVing and camping – skyrocketed.
ORR said its annual report showcases its efforts to lead a collaborative industry response to the pandemic, all while providing support for rural economic growth, bridging the gap between federal agencies and outdoor recreation, educating lawmakers on the importance of the outdoor recreation industry and much more.
