The RV Industry Association’s 2020 RV Industry Profile has been released. The annual report provides a detailed look at RV production and shipment statistics, including historical comparisons of shipment data and unit dollar volume, as well as production breakdowns by product type and shipment destination.
Key findings from the report include:
- Indiana overwhelmingly continues to lead the country in RV production, manufacturing nearly 87 percent of all RVs in the United States and Canada.
- Texas remains the top destination for RV shipments, receiving 10.2 percent of total RV wholesale shipments followed by California (7.2 percent), Florida (5.6 percent), Ohio (4.2 percent), and Michigan (3.8 percent).
- Wholesale RV shipments finished at 430,400 units for the year with a retail value of $18.15 billion.
Data focusing on park model RV shipments for 2020 as well as historical information back to 2011 is included in the report for the first time.
