Firefly Integrations recently partnered with Redwood RV to provide its customers with the what Firefly said is a best-in-class electrical control and monitoring system for model year 2023 units. The Firefly System will provide ease of access to the owners with switches located around the coach in convenient locations, a user-friendly touchscreen in the main living quarters and a mobile app to control the coach from anywhere in the world.
“The Firefly System adds to our unit by giving our customers easy access to the entire unit whether they’re on-site or out exploring,” says Tim Cress, product manager at Redwood. “Owners can have peace of mind while they’re away from their RV due to the Eclipse app and the connectivity within the coach due to the Firefly touchscreen and switches allowing owners complete control and visibility to their coach.”
Many Redwood owners travel with pets and stay in areas with warmer climates, the company said. The Firefly Eclipse App allows for ambient temperature monitoring and control of the HVAC system to ensure pets are safe and comfortable. This feature is also useful to cool or warm the coach before returning from a day away.
For those owners who enjoy boondocking, quick and accurate visibility of tank levels allows the opportunity to plan the trip more efficiently. The Firefly touchscreen allows accurate tank monitoring from the home screen giving owners a look at freshwater levels during the stay so they can ration water usage appropriately during their stay.
The Firefly System offers key features that are essential to unit owners such as quick and easy Bluetooth pairing from your touchscreen to owners’ mobile devices, and status reports of the coach’s system. The Firefly System also includes easy operation of functions including:
- Lights
- Slides
- Leveling jacks
- HVAC
- Generator
The 2023 Redwood RV featuring the Firefly system can be seen at the Tampa SuperShow in booth #875.
