Airxcel has appointed Marc Brunner to vice president of operations and engineering for its Dicor Products, United Shade and Vixen Composite brands and respective Elkhart, Ind., facilities. Anthony Wollschlager, division president, made the announcement.
In this newly created position, Brunner is responsible for operations, purchasing and engineering as well as executing specific global initiatives supporting Airxcel’s growth strategy. Overseeing two senior employees and a soon-to-be-added engineering manager, he reports directly to Wollschlager.
Brunner was most recently director of operations at Diedrich Drill where he led operations and supply chain management across a multiple-shift business. Before, Brunner was the operations/continuous improvement and materials manager for McCormick & Co. at its South Bend location.

Brunner is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, N.Y., where he attained a bachelor’s in systems engineering. He completed his MBA at Bethel College located in Mishawaka, Ind.
