Airxcel Inc. announced the consolidation and relocation of MCD Innovations Inc. (MCD) operations from McKinney, Texas to Elkhart, Indiana.
The high-quality products and service that customers have grown to expect from MCD will continue through the Elkhart-based operations of United Shade LLC, bringing the operation and product delivery closer to the epicenter of RV manufacturing, the company said.
This strategic decision reflects Airxcel’s commitment to optimizing its operations, deepening relationships with key customers, and delivering faster, more responsive service. With this move, Airxcel said it will be positioned to capitalize on shared investments across its portfolio of brands, streamline production and supply chain coordination, and place MCD products closer to the customers and manufacturing operations it serves.

The consolidation and relocation of MCD to United Shade will be complete by Oct. 31 with full manufacturing capabilities continuing at United Shade.
