Bob Mater and Sonny Dismuke, principal owners of Stalwart Design & Development, have sent out a notice saying that Ben Pearson’s EBSC sales group is authorized to negotiate All American Super Suspension supply contracts on behalf of Stalwart.
The All American’s patented design is a departure from conventional towable suspension configurations. According to the company, the Super Suspension achieved, recorded and documented an 82 percent average reduction of road energy transfer over six different NAVISTAR proving grounds pavement challenges versus a conventional towable RV suspension.
Features include:
1. Independent axle operation, which is meant to improve ride, and eliminates axle roll-up during a hard or panic braking event.
2. The hydraulic ride control consists of two large, nitrogen gas-charged shock absorbers per axle to control spring compression and rebound-induced bouncing. Shocks are also angled 15 degrees inside out to restrain body roll, reduce sway and diminish the effects of high crosswinds.
3. Axle alignment correction to within 1/8-inch increases tire life and reduces the damaging effect of vibration that attacks the structure and all contents of the RV.
4. The Super Suspension’s design helps reduce most of the high-wear moving components of conventional suspensions. It eliminates 10 of 14 moving connections in tandem suspensions, as well as 16 of 22 moving connections in a triple suspension.
The All American Super Suspension is now approved for use on certain Lippert frames, and units so equipped are covered by the Lippert frame warranty.
