This week, the RV Women’s Alliance (RVWA) is hosting its very first all-women’s Level 2 course in partnership with the RV Technical Institute (RVTI).
Following the success of the all-female tech classes, learners wanted the opportunity to expand their skills to Level 2.
Nine students are enrolled in the Level 2 course, which consists of online lessons for 11 weeks followed by a one-week hands-on session in Elkhart, Indiana, this November.
During Level 2 training, RV technicians develop theoretical knowledge of all the systems and components within an RV, including propane, electrical, plumbing, appliances, body, generator and chassis.
A student who successfully completes the training will leave with a proven skill set to be able to perform basic diagnostics, troubleshooting and repairs on those systems and components.
