Aqua-Hot, an Airxcel brand, is hosting a live, in-person all-women’s RV technician Level 1 training this week in partnership with the RV Women’s Alliance (RVWA) and the RV Technical Institute (RVTI). The week-long training is being held at Aqua-Hot’s new facilities in Frederick, Colorado.
The five-day Level 1 course will teach attendees about the seven RV systems (propane, electrical, plumbing, appliances, body, generator and chassis). After passing the course, they will be equipped to perform RV pre-delivery inspections. Participants will also get a guided factory tour of Aqua-Hot’s facility.
“We are excited to be hosting this RVWA training session, demonstrating our dedication to empowering female RV technicians and workers in the RV industry,” said Selma Salihagic, Aqua-Hot general manager. “This training marks a significant milestone in promoting diversity and inclusivity within the RV industry, and we are honored to play a role in this impactful initiative.”
“We are thrilled that Aqua-Hot is hosting our all-female tech class, showing their commitment to fostering diversity and empowering women in the RV Industry,” said Susan Carpenter, RVWA president. “We firmly believe this initiative will pave the way and inspire more women to explore this exciting field.”
