Arterra Distribution, the RV division of the WFCO group, has hired Bobby Raatz to be the new managing director at the company’s Elkhart, Ind.-based headquarters. Raatz will oversee operations and continuing to grow the business through new product lines, sales, and marketing.
“There’s a lot of exciting things on the horizon at Arterra that I’m looking forward to being a part of,” said Raatz. “Our reputation as the providers of industry-leading innovation in RV power conversion solutions is only getting stronger, and I look forward to help cement that reputation even further.”
Raatz is well known in the RV industry with more than 15 years of experience; ranging from the OEM level, aftermarket, and supplier side. He has worked with SM Osgood as a regional sales manager and most recently as the RVP of sales at Southwire.
“Having Bobby on board opens up many new opportunities for us,” said Jack Cheng, CEO of Arterra Distribution. “His extensive industry experience within sales and marketing will certainly help us grow upon the foundation and momentum achieved by our current team.”
After a 25-year career in the RV industry, Arterra Distribution President Rich Dotson retired on April 1.
Dotson started at Arterra in November 2016 and has been instrumental in the growth of the WFCO brand in the OEM and aftermarket business channels. In this role, Dotson managed all aspects of Arterra’s Elkhart operation and used his extensive background in sales and marketing to guide the business forward.
“Rich was a great asset and leader to the Arterra team over the past 4 years,” said Cheng. “While we’re going to miss his expertise and RV industry knowledge, we wish him all the best in retirement.”
