ASA Electronics introduced what it said is the world’s first prepped smart control system.
It was developed as a direct response to manufacturers’ concerns about customer readiness for app-controlled RVs while catering to diverse consumer preferences, the company said. By offering the option to equip RVs with an iN·Command Prep system (NCSP60), ASA Electronics has empowered owners to effortlessly enhance and upgrade their vehicles while minimizing manufacturers’ investment.
“It’s a win-win,” says Jim Hess, vice president of the RV Division at ASA. “We created a system that allows manufacturers little to no risk, and when customers choose to upgrade, they can do so without going to a dealer.”
The iN·Command prep system’s features include plug-and-play functionality, plus RV owners can easily integrate the system into their vehicles, meaning no lengthy waiting queues at service centers. Even those with limited technical expertise can enjoy the benefits of advanced RV technology without costly labor expenses or time-consuming dealership appointments.
“When consumers choose to upgrade their pre-wired RV, a sense of freedom accompanies it,” said Hess. “Everything can be controlled from their phone. That means that if you’re outside as dusk approaches, you don’t have to get up from relaxation or leave your grill. Instead, with just a few clicks on the app – boom! – the lights are on.”
