A new survey finds RV dealers remain optimistic about current conditions, as well as for the three- to five-year time frame, according to RVDA and Baird, the financial services firm.
Results of the July Baird RV Dealer Index found the dealer favorability rating was 65 out of 100 when rating current market conditions. That is down from the 77 out of 100 rating June’s survey produced.
The dealer survey results are a positive contrast from a year ago, when lack of inventory was the primary concern on dealers’ minds.
The dealer favorability rating for the three- to five-year outlook for July is 54 out of 100, also down slightly from June’s 59 out of 100.
(Any reading above 50 is considered positive).
The survey is conducted by Baird in conjunction with the RV Dealers Association.
