Blacksford RV Rentals To Open Phoenix Location
Blacksford RV Rentals announced it will be opening a Phoenix, Arizona, location on Oct. 1, with reservations open now for the fall.
Blacksford’s other locations in Bozeman, Montana, and Las Vegas, Nevada, have seen doubling and tripling of rentals in the last year, the company said, underscoring that the RV rental market continues its strong post-COVID momentum.
“Phoenix is a huge and growing market for RV rentals, near such bucket list RV trip destinations as the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Flagstaff and Route 66, Monument Valley, Antelope Canyon, Page, Lake Powell and Saguaro and Petrified Forest National Parks,” said Becky Goodell, CEO of Blacksford. “We believe the Blacksford RV rental experience — including 2025 Class B and Class C Winnebago and Thor RVs, sleeping up to six — combined with our white glove customer service (airport pick-up and drop off, 24/7 assistance, free mileage and generator use) will fill an important gap in the Phoenix RV rental market for hundreds of first-time and experienced RVers.”
“Our customers come from all over the country, and all over the world, to stay in our national parks and live the awe-inspiring beauty of the Western United States up close and personal,” said Jeff Onuoye, Blacksford’s general manager. “We know that our location in Phoenix will extend Blacksford’s ability to give so many more people that unique experience.”
The RV Industry Association (RVIA)’s latest economic impact study in 2022 measured the impact the RV economy has on jobs, wages, taxes and spending. The study revealed that the RV industry had an overall economic impact to the US economy of $140 billion, supporting 680,000 jobs, contributing more than $48 billion in wages, and paying over $13.6 billion in federal, state and local taxes.
