The Boston RV & Camping Expo will run from Friday, Jan. 12 to Monday, Jan. 15, and is expected to break attendance records. The show and sale is at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center in the city’s Seaport District. The show is produced by Paragon Group of Needham, Mass., and is sponsored by the New England RV Dealers Association (NERVDA).
Paragon Group and NERVDA partnered with each other in 2013 when Bob Zagami took over as executive director of the association.
In 2016, the event drew 12,500 visitors, and in 2017, it brought 17,500 RVers into Boston. This year, NERVDA anticipates more than 20,000 attendees this weekend.
“Our show and sale this year features everything from pop-up campers around $10,000 to luxury dealer pushers that sell for $500,000,” said Zagami. “We have more Class B motorhomes and lightweight trailers that are easily towed by small SUVs and half-ton pickup trucks. … NERVDA represents dealers in all six New England states and each state will be represented in the show. Attendees can also make reservations at the region’s campground as state campground owner associations exhibit and showcase the incredible number of private campgrounds in New England.”
“We have 20 or our 35 NERVDA dealers in the show this year and there will be over 200 RVs covering three football fields inside this great convention center in the heart of Boston,” said David Major, president of NERVDA and owner of Major’s RV Service Center. “In addition to RVs and campgrounds, we have accessory vendors offering everything needed to enjoy camping in New England or RVing around the country.”
