The Back to Camping Summit will take place May 11-12, operating virtually at BTCamping.com. Open to outdoor destination owners, operators, managers, staff, experts, and advisors the event will focus on actionable strategies for RV parks, campgrounds, and glamping destinations to get their businesses “back to business.”
Fifteen speakers have agreed to participate. The organizers expect 1,000 attendees to take part.
“This is all about helping park operators to get back into business fast and efficiently,” said Mark Koep, event producer. “COVID19 and the shutdowns has fundamentally changed the operating environment and we believe this event can help our entire industry get through this as a unified force.”
Koep’s internal polling has shown that 60 percent of destinations are either struggling or in serious financial troubles. Additionally, Koep’s external polling shows that the consumer has changed perceptions and needs for outdoor travel this year.
The Back to Camping Summit is presented by CampgroundViews.com in association with RoverPass. Attendee registration fees start at $49.99. Vendor and sponsorship opportunities are also available.
