Camping World Holdings announced its expansion plans for the development of new SuperCenters in Augusta, Ga.; Marion, Ill.; and Huber Heights, Ohio.
Camping World currently owns and operates more than 140 SuperCenters nationwide, with most locations specializing in RV sales and service, retail accessories, and its entire portfolio of Good Sam products and services. Plans are underway to expand the company footprint with additional locations in several high traffic, outdoor centric markets, with the new SuperCenters in Augusta, Marion and Huber Heights planned to open later this year.
“This is an exciting announcement not only for those of us who love the outdoors, but also for the community members of these great markets. The new locations, slated to open in 2018, will not only increase our presence in new markets, but are also in alignment with the strategic growth plans we have for the company,” said Marcus Lemonis, chairman of Camping World.
The new markets for development are in addition to recent 2018 RV dealer acquisition announcements made in Sioux Falls, S.D.; Little Rock, Ark.; Oklahoma City; Redding, Calif.; Newport News, Va.; and Nashville, Tenn.
