Leadership from the largest RV retailer in the U.S. was in the Nebraska Panhandle last week.
City officials have confirmed to KSID that representatives from Camping World, including CEO Marcus Lemonis, were in Sidney, Neb. on Wednesday.
Sidney Economic Development Director Melissa Norgard said she and City Manager David Scott met with the leadership team during their trip.
They stress that there are currently no plans in motion for Camping World to do anything in the city of Sidney. It was just an initial meeting between the two parties and for Camping World officials to see what the town has to offer.
Norgard says she doesn’t want people to get ahead of themselves with this news.
