The following report comes from Gary Reich at Trade Only Today.
Chris-Craft last week broke ground on an 80,000-square-foot factory in Sarasota, Fla.
The new facility will be built on a 6-acre lot adjacent to Chris-Craft’s existing factory, expanding its overall footprint to 20 acres and employing 300 workers.
“We are excited for the opportunity to expand Chris-Craft right here at our home facility in Sarasota,” President Steve Heese said in a statement. “Through this expansion, we will be able to better serve our dealers and customers, as well as the Sarasota community.”
Chris-Craft said the project will be completed in September and will add 200 employees to the company.
