Colonial Airstream Hosts Successful RV Show

Colonial Airstream and RV recently hosted a multi-day event it called “The Next Adventure RV Sales Event” at its 50,000-square-foot dealership in Millstone Township, N.J.

The three-day event drew some 700 attendees.

Organizers said showing off its new facility was one of the main drivers behind hosting this first-ever, the three-day event, which drew some 700 attendees.

Aside from having many of the latest models of Airstream and Winnebago RVs, interactive workshops, technical seminars and prize giveaways kept the crowds engaged.

Blue Ox was on hand to give demonstrations of its products.

Companies including Blue Ox and Wheresafe GPS set up booths and provided in-person demonstrations of their products. Lithium battery power seminars were held to educate those interested in learning more about the latest technology. Colonial also hosted local RV groups, including a local chapter of the Wally Byam Caravan Club International, to talk about the RV lifestyle. Organizers said one of the biggest event attractions was having “The Coffee Stream” company serving delicious coffee and lattes to attendees from its renovated 1965 Airstream Globetrotter.

Reps from a local chapter of the Wally Byam Caravan Club International had a booth set up.

Colonial Airstream is a “Five Rivet” Airstream dealership celebrating its 20th year in 2022. The Lenzo Family started the business as a small, specialty pre-owned car and truck dealership in 1982. In 2002, they took advantage of the opportunity to direct their energy and focus on offering best-in-class sales and service within the Airstream community. The company thrived in the RV industry, it said, because even in the transition it stayed “hyper-focused” on customer service.

When it came time to build a new facility, it included 20 service bays to try to alleviate the need for more service centers that make repairs and service the aftermarket. The new facility, with easy access to the New Jersey Turnpike, is several times the size of its previous one.
