A San Pablo, Calif., councilmember is trying to raise funds to purchase a motorhome for a family of six who lost two homes in Paradise due to the deadly Camp Fire.
This story by Mike Aldax originally appeared in The Richmond Standard.
Richmond Councilmember Rich Kinney said the motorhome will help a family consisting of a grandparents, their son and daughter-in-law and grandchildren.
“This motorhome allows them to live close to their jobs and their kids’ school,” Kinney said. “The cost is $3,500 and we have the first $1,000.”
Community members wishing to make a donation are encouraged to go here.
“Help us help two more families get into their own private temporary home before Christmas,” Kinney said.
