Cruiser RV announced the release of its newest mid-profile fifth wheel, dubbed Essence.
The OEM said Essence offers a lower tow weight, bold exterior styling, elegant interior features and superior construction. The series currently includes three floorplans. The initial floorplan debut, the E25RK, includes a front bedroom and rear kitchen, with a bunkhouse floorplan and a rear entertainment floorplan rolling out soon.
“Tinted G20 windows line the sides of the Essence, keeping out harsh sunlight to help regulate heat inside the coach. A painted fiberglass front cap improves aerodynamics while towing, while a Curt Roto-Flex 16k pin box provides a rock-solid connection to a tow vehicle. Upgraded 16-inch tires help create a stable base while parked and can handle a range of conditions on the road,” the company said.
Inside, the kitchen features solid surface countertops, residential workstation sink, waterfall faucet and Cruiser’s air fryer oven. A 16.2-cubic-foot, 12-volt refrigerator includes French doors and two freezer drawers.
“To create a fifth wheel on the lighter side, we’ve streamlined the construction and design as much as possible,” said John Jones, senior general manager of Cruiser RV. “But that sensibility truly shines through in the interior of the coach, where it’s reflected in the clean architectural lines and refined decor.”
The bedroom includes a standard queen mattress with hidden storage space under the bed. A closet with washer/dryer prep comes standard on all Essence models. The bathroom includes an upgraded shower surround and on-demand water heater.
Essence is built with a six-sided aluminum superstructure that’s lightweight but retains strength and stability.
“Essence has been meticulously crafted to include an array of in-demand features,” said Jones. “It’s filled with everyday luxuries, but we wanted Essence to be attainable for a broad variety of campers.”
