Ember Recreational Vehicles unveiled what it said is its most innovative Overland Series floor plan to date, the 240TKR, a fully reconfigurable, open garage gear hauler concept, at its New Product Expo held for dealers that came to Elkhart, Indiana, for Open House. It will be making its public debut at this weekend’s Overland Expo East in Arrington, Virginia. The ramp door-equipped gear hauler is built on Ember’s Trailblazer chassis featuring the Curt trailing arm independent suspension and prominently uses the company’s patent-pending EmberTrack system through the design.
“Current customers and interested buyers have been asking for ‘an Ember toy hauler’ since the original introduction of our Overland Series in late 2021,” said Chris Barth, founder and chief operating officer of Ember. “Customers saw the overland potential provided by the Curt independent suspension and our off-grid solar upgrades coupled with the quality that Ember delivers, so we’re excited to introduce this new floor plan to our lineup.”
The 240TKR features include a 90” x 72” rear ramp door that can be used as a “party deck” that opens to the open concept gear garage; bunk platforms that can also be used as storage shelving or desktop space; a unique front bed set up with its our brand new twin-king reconfigurable space; and the award-winning Curt independent trailing-arm suspension with heavy-duty coil springs and dual shock absorbers on each side along with Goodyear Wrangler off-road tires, a huge Stargazer European window skylight above the master bed(s), 81-gallon total fresh water tank capacity, a unique composite-material structural build, and a capable standard off-grid solar package straight from the factory.
The 240TKR will be showcased at the Overland Expo East in Arrington, Virginia, starting Friday and through the weekend. Ember’s website will be updated with more information on this specific floorplan in the coming weeks.
