Bristol, Indiana-based Ember Recreational Vehicles has built its 1,000th travel trailer. The 1,000th unit came off Ember’s production line on Monday of this week. The company celebrated this milestone with a cookout for its team.
“Without the efforts of each person on our team, reaching the 1,000th unit milestone wouldn’t have been possible. I’m so proud of the team we’ve built and continue to grow,” said Ashley Bontrager Lehman, president and CEO of Ember.
Ember was founded in early 2021 by Ashley Bontrager Lehman and three other co-founders: Chris Barth, chief operating officer; Steve Delagrange, director of operations; and Ernie Miller, also director of operations.
The announcement of the milestone included the company’s mission statement: “To build a better RV, we need to build a better RV company. By aligning superior owner experiences with greater team member fulfillment, we’ll create RVs meant for fun while having fun.”
Bontrager Lehman added, “Every one of our teammates brings their own unique skills and talents to team Ember, contributing to make something great and are always striving to find ways to do better. I must also acknowledge and thank our dealer partners, supplier partners, customers, and everyone else who has helped us along the way for believing in us and coming alongside Ember on this journey. I’m excited for what building the 1,000th trailer means for Ember, our team, and our partners. I’m looking forward to what the future holds for Ember and what comes next.”
