Encore RV announced the grand opening of its new manufacturing facility.
The milestone comes after the unfortunate fire that affected its previous location.
Located on C.R. 6 in Elkhart and spanning over 60,000 square feet, the new facility demonstrates Encore RV’s resilience and commitment to excellence in the face of adversity. The strategic design enhances production efficiency and underscores the company’s dedication to sustainable practices, it said.
“After the challenge of rebuilding from the fire, we are thrilled to unveil our new facility, which symbolizes our unwavering dedication to innovation and quality,” said Rich Schnippel, founder of Encore RV. “This new space not only expands our production capabilities but also reinforces our mission to deliver exceptional recreational trailers that exceed our customers’ expectations.”
The strategic location in Elkhart optimizes logistics and distribution, ensuring efficient product delivery that upholds the company’s standards of durability and performance.
“Rebuilding after a fire can be stressful and challenging,” said Schnippel. “I think our biggest take away from this was how many different companies stepped up to help out, we even had calls from some of our competitors, that says so much about Elkhart County. Sometimes we take our community for granted, but this really opened our eyes to just how fortunate we are to live in Elkhart, Indiana.”
