Dave Brown, a founding partner of Southwestern Consulting, will present three workshops – all on Thursday of the show – in the sales track at the RVDA’s Convention/Expo Nov. 6 to 10 at Paris in Las Vegas. This will be Brown’s first appearance at the annual RVDA convention.
His first workshop will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, titled “Navigate: Selling the Way People Want to Buy.” It examines the notion that selling is not about treating people the way you want to be treated; it’s about treating people the way they want to be treated.
During the workshop, attendees will learn:
- What are the four distinct psychological buying and selling behavioral types
- How to identify someone’s buying behavioral style within seconds of meeting them
- Why saying the wrong thing in the first five seconds can permanently eliminate your chance of ever making a sale
- Which types of advanced closing techniques are most likely to increase the probability of converting someone into a customer.
Next, from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, Brown will present “Servant Selling: Closing More Deals and Giving Your Customers Exactly What They Need.” Servant selling is a “help others” philosophy that puts your potential customers’ needs and desires ahead of your own.
During the workshop, attendees will learn:
- Why approaching sales with a helping others perspective gains trust and support
- How to successfully sell your products and services from a servant perspective
- Life-changing proven methodologies and ideas with almost 20 years of support that has been tested with tens of thousands of people to make sure it works!
Then, from 2 to 3 p.m., day Brown will deliver “Navigate: Leading People the Way They Want to Be Lead.” We need to lead by example, modeling the behavior we want to see in others and creating a safe and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
During the workshop, attendees will learn:
The four distinct psychological behavioral types and how to identify someone’s style within seconds of meeting them
How to modify your leadership and communication style to lead the way they like to be led
Why saying the wrong thing in the first five seconds can permanently eliminate your chance of gaining their trust and confidence as a leader
