RV manufacturer representatives, other industry members, and local government officials will attend the grand opening. The public is also invited. Attendees can tour the Supercenter, view new RVs on display, and enjoy complimentary refreshments and beverages.
The Supercenter offers more than 300 RVs for sale and 16 service bays. There is also an onsite retail store where customers can shop for RV parts and accessories. In addition to its expanded facilities, the new Superstore features prairie-style architecture, extensive landscaping, a split-rail fence, and traditional street light fixtures.
Construction of the new Supercenter, which replaced General RV’s White Lake store, was completed in January.
“We had simply outgrown our previous location,” said Bill Brown, operations manager. “We had reached maximum capacity and needed to upgrade.”
“This new store allows us to better serve our customers,” said Dominic Sinatra, sales manager. “This building is beautiful, but it’s also much more convenient for our customers. … The parking and capacity were a challenge at the old store. Now, it’s much easier for them to get in and out with their RVs.”
Brown and Sinatra both emphasized how the store employees, many of whom transferred from the White Lake store, make a real difference for customers by providing exceptional service.
General RV Center, which is based in Wixom, Mich., currently operates six RV supercenters across Michigan with its team of about 2,000 employees. The Clarkston Supercenter opening created more than 40 additional local jobs.
General RV’s Clarkston Supercenter is located at 8665 Dixie Highway, off Interstate 75.
