General RV announced that it will hold an official grand opening for its Supercenter in Ocala, Fla., from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on March 20. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will kick off the festivities, followed by brief remarks from General RV President Loren Baidas.
RV manufacturer representatives, other industry members, and local government officials will attend the grand opening. The public also is invited. Attendees can tour the Supercenter, view new RVs on display, and enjoy complimentary refreshments and beverages.
“We are very excited to be a part of the Ocala community,” said Baidas. “We would not have been able to build our new facility without the support of our local partners and area residents. We hope they will join us in the celebration.”
General RV’s Ocala Supercenter is located at 13150 SW 16th Ave., off of Interstate 75 at Highway 484. The Supercenter offers more than 500 RVs for sale, 38 service bays, and a state-of-the-art painting facility. There is also a large retail store with a wide selection of RV parts and accessories.
“Some customers have saved their entire lives to buy the RV of their dreams, hit the road, and live the lifestyle,” said Howard Salickram, sales manager at the Ocala store. “We are ready to help make that dream a reality.”
General RV Ocala will continue the celebration with the grand opening sale event through Sunday, with special introductory prices on many popular RV brands.
General RV Center, which is based in Michigan, currently operates two RV supercenters in Jacksonville and Tampa.
“Like our other locations, our Ocala Supercenter provides an industry-leading purchase, delivery, and ownership experience, thanks to our team of RV experts,” said Baidas. “This latest addition helps strengthen our Florida network so we can better serve existing customers and further grow the General RV family.”
