General RV Center, with six locations and its headquarters in Michigan, has been recognized as one of the largest family-owned businesses and the top family-owned RV dealership in the state by regional business publication Crain’s Detroit.
Earlier this month, Crain’s released its annual list ranking Michigan businesses that are majority-owned by members of the same family and have reached a second generation of management. The 2023 list recognizes General RV Center at number 14, making it the largest family-owned RV dealership throughout Michigan.
Announcing its selection, General RV also noted that in the past five years:
- It grew its revenue by 82%
- In 2022, when RV shipments began to decline and return to pre-pandemic levels, General RV opened a new dealership in Pennsylvania..
- Last month, the company announced a 15th dealership to open its second location in Utah in 2024.
