Girl Scouts of Northern Indiana-Michiana (GSNI-M) got a chance to design their own RVs during two special STEM-related events at Camp Agnes S. McMillen.
Elkhart-based RV manufacturer Thor Motor Coach presented the LEAP (Learn, Engage, Achieve, Perform) program to Girl Scout Juniors and Cadettes during June 30’s “Minds for Design” day camp. The LEAP program challenged teams of girls to work together to construct an RV out of LEGOs, learn from their mistakes and conduct a process improvement. Girls then had a chance to tour an RV and learn about careers in the RV industry.
