Grand Design Holds ‘Christmas in July’ Toy Collection Event

Grand Design in Elkhart, Indiana, celebrated Christmas in July on Saturday in support of Toys for Tots.

Grand Design RV hosted the event with the Elkhart Area Marine Corps.

It was an opportunity for the community to come out, win prizes, grab a bite to eat and visit with Mr. and Mrs. Claus a few months early. But most importantly, people were able to donate new toys for children in Elkhart County.

Grand Design RV Community Outreach Director Emily Stahley said, “We wanted to stuff the most, so standing behind me is a Grand Design Momentum fifth wheel toy hauler. We wanted to be able to go from tip to tail, from the very front to the very back, full of toys and that’s what our goal was here.”

The company had an Amazon link open for a few weeks so people could ship gifts directly to the building.

Stahley says they filled up six boxes just with those donations.
