Grand Design RV, a subsidiary of Winnebago Industries, introduced a new motorized line, Lineage, kicking off their entrance into the segment with a Class C motorhome. The Lineage Series M will boast a specially curated control system made by Firefly Integrations, a leading developer of multiplex control systems for the RV industry.
“At Firefly Integrations we are dedicated to improving customer experiences through simplified solutions,” said Enos Miller, salesman at Firefly Integrations. “As Grand Design pushes boundaries to redefine what’s possible with their Lineage line, there is no question that our two organizations form a great partnership. We are excited to continue to explore new possibilities with Grand Design and bring new technology and user experiences to their customers.”
Firefly Integrations said it works to provide elevated RV experiences through the introduction of innovative technology. By integrating many aspects of Grand Design’s Lineage, such as the lights, HVAC and energy management, into one system, Firefly facilitates effortless communication between onboard systems. With touchscreens and switch panels conveniently installed throughout the RV, Lineage Series M owners will experience total control at the touch of a button.
“Partnering with Firefly Integrations for our new Lineage line has been transformative for us,” said Grand Design’s General Manager Tommy Hall. “At Grand Design, we relentlessly pursue excellence and are dedicated to crafting exceptional experiences for our customers. This collaboration is not just about integrating advanced technology; it’s about fundamentally changing the way our customers interact with their RVs. We’re thrilled to work with a partner who shares our bold vision for innovation and commitment to delivering unmatched quality.”
Grand Design’s entrance into the motorized segment was highly anticipated as it is one of the fastest-growing RV brands in the industry’s vast history, the company said. Previously dedicated solely to towable trailers, this new model marks a significant shift for the company.
“At Grand Design, we’re all about pushing boundaries and redefining what’s possible, and the Lineage line exemplifies this. Our partnership with Firefly Integrations is a perfect match, as it allows us to infuse groundbreaking technology into our designs,” said Mike Hums, product manager at Grand Design. “We’ve invested our passion and expertise into making the Lineage line a trailblazer in the industry, setting new benchmarks for quality and innovation. I’m eagerly anticipating our customers’ reactions to the revolutionary features we’ve introduced together.”
The Lineage Series M features Firefly Integrations’ mobile app with local control allowing users to control and monitor their RV from anywhere within a 90-foot range of their vehicle from their phone or tablet.
“Firefly has loved taking on new challenges as we’ve worked hand-in-hand with Grand Design to push the boundaries,” said Mike Butler, vice president of sales at Firefly Integrations. “Integrating RV systems into one simple interface to give end users the best possible experience is what we do. We look forward to continuing to accomplish this as we create big things with Grand Design both now and in the future.”
